Consultant Urban Planner
Carmel is a dedicated and passionate urban planner who balances technical analysis and practical skills to achieve people-focused outcomes across strategic, statutory and infrastructure planning.
Carmel joined Mesh in 2024 as a Graduate Planner and has since expanded her skill set and experience as a Consultant Planner. She has developed a diverse range of abilities across strategic, statutory and infrastructure planning and has contributed to a wide variety of projects throughout both Victoria and South Australia.
Her journey into urban planning was inspired by a nine-month volunteer trip across Latin America and Asia, during which she worked in community outreach and support programs. This experience fuelled her aspirations in strategic and infrastructure planning.

She brings a detail-oriented and open mindset to the Mesh team, along with strong organisational and project management skills and technical proficiency in Excel and QGIS. Carmel is always eager to get involved in projects and contribute as much as possible.
