Chris De Silva is a town planner with over 30 years of strategic planning experience that has been gained in various senior positions in the public and private sectors.

Chris is the humble founder and visionary leader of Mesh and he is highly respected in the planning and development industry. Chris’ opinions and advice are regularly sought by all levels of Government and by developers in his capacity as an expert witness or as a member of formal and informal advisory committees.

Chris’ specialises in strategic land use and infrastructure planning and he is passionate about the value of urban design. Chris is a highly skilled negotiator and his positivity, creativity and ability to simplify complex concepts to achieve improved outcomes are highly valued attributes.

Chris’ talents and contribution to the industry were recognised in 2021 when Chris received the PIA National Planner of the year award.
