Pavan Dutta
Graduate Urban Planner
Pavan blends storytelling into every step of his planning, strengthening his ability to articulate the complexities of urban strategy and policy for community, developer and government stakeholders.
He has completed a Masters of Urban Planning and Environment at RMIT, receiving accolades for his academic performance and praised for his inventive approach to contemporary urban issues, namely the housing crisis and media misinformation about planner’s role in fueling said crisis.
Prior to his planning career, Pavan spent the past decade writing for Australian television, predominantly Neighbours, the country’s longest running soap. His passion for story-telling and communication bleeds into his planning practice, where he’s driven to help shape Melbourne’s urban landscape and the stories that get told about the city.
